On August 27, we hosted an orientation event to welcome new year one students to HKUST, with a special focus on introducing Aero team. The purpose of this gathering was to connect students with our student group dedicated to aeronautical and aerospace engineering. We have introduced a glider workshop, teaching them how to enhance its features fly longer.
Aeroteam participates in international competitions where we design, build, and fly radio-controlled planes. Our mission is to provide a collaborative environment for students from diverse disciplines to learn about the aviation industry and share their passion for flight.
During the orientation, we highlighted upcoming activities and events organized by Aeroteam, encouraging students to stay connected through our email newsletters and social media channels. We also introduced the AIAA HKUST branch, which focuses on academic research in aeronautics and astronautics, offering valuable insights into the aviation field.
