SITE VISIT: HONG KONG AIR CARGO TERMINALS LIMITED (HACTL)

On May 9 2018, the Student Branch visited Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL). HACTL is one of the world’s leading air cargo terminals with unique world-class facilities, highly efficient operation, and innovative technology. HACTL is the only neutral air cargo terminal operator at Hong Kong International Airport. Operating since 1976, the company was established to support the import, export and transhipment of air cargo in Hong Kong, contributing to the growth of the economy of Hong Kong. Students were given the opportunity to look at their Box Storage System(BSS), Container Storage System(CSS), Special Cargo Handling Facilities, and Cargo Collection and Delivery Procedures.
