Technical Visit to Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL)

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Hactl – Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited for providing an invaluable opportunity to visit their facilities on 20th Oct. This visit has enabled our students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the local air freighter industry. Notably, it has shed light on the operation of the aviation industry, with a specific focus on the cargo and shipping aspects, which are areas that many students have had limited exposure to. Furthermore, the visit has provided valuable insights on the pathway to becoming a qualified engineer in this specialized field.

We extend our sincere appreciation to HACTL for organizing such an enriching tour exclusively for HKUST students. Our hope is that this event has allowed our students to deepen their knowledge and passion for this fascinating industry, and perhaps even inspire them to pursue a career in this field in the future.
